The Role
We have a new opportunity for an experienced Cleaning Assistant to join our Operations Team! You will undertake regular cleaning of Club offices and other facilities here at the Cooper Associates County Ground, Taunton and be responsible for any assigned area’s cleanliness and hygiene.
To give you a snapshot of the tasks involved in this role, you will be cleaning, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming and mopping surfaces and fixtures in site areas, alongside taking out any rubbish/waste. You’ll be refilling and restocking cleaning supplies/toiletries, maintaining cleaning products and ordering new supplies when necessary. You will be responsible for maintaining Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDSs) and undertaking intensive monthly deep cleaning duties. You’ll ensure that routine inspection and maintenance activities are performed and recorded and inform the Safety Officer of any occurring problems or needs for repairs. Occasionally, you will carry out minor maintenance tasks such as replacing displaced toilet seats, unclogging sinks.
About you
Amongst other criteria, to be successful in our team you’ll have demonstrable experience working in a similar role and knowledge of reading and interpreting Material Safety Data Sheets. You are detail orientated with good organisational, customer service, time management and planning skills.
You are honest, trustworthy and always willing to help with a can-do attitude. You can proactively work on your own initiative, yet you are equally comfortable and collaborative working as part of a team. You’re organised and punctually with a friendly and approachable demeaner.
You will need to be eligible to work in the UK.
